I am a freelance writer and website designer with over ten years of experience in web development, training, and technical communications.

I design small- to medium-sized websites that run off of popular content management systems like Drupal, Wordpress, and Community Server. I do the project planning, design, development, writing, training, and support -- the whole shebang! Bring me in and I will work with you to make sure you get what you want, at a reasonable cost.

Back in 1995, I started my career as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, where I regularly designed and led training programs. From that training and experience, I developed a strong user-centered focus in all of my work. When I became a technical writer and then a web developer, I continued to use that ESL instructional design methodology as a foundation. Everything I write -- articles, training, user and developer manuals, web copy, online help, etc. -- has clear objectives based on what the reader needs.
